Muddy Mess II in Progress.

It is early in the season and the Muddy Mess series is coming along nicely. Each model has brought something new to the series, and I never know what it is till it is exposed. The images below are just a small sample of what has been produced, and what is to come in the summer of our Muddy Mess Adventures.

Color in Colorado!

It is now the season that new growth comes in. Trees are starting to develop foliage and blossoms here in Colorado. The grass is green, bulbs are blooming and the perennials are back to grace us with their beauty! Every year I try to get out and photograph the flowers in the urban landscape. Up close and intimate is my style. You would never know these beautiful specimens were growing in the concrete jungles of Denver...… This is a sample of what is to come this year.

11th Ave.

Two new images added to the Lord and Quinn Photography Vogue Italia account. This is part of the 11th Ave. Editorial we created with the Amazing Terrence Phillips. Terrence who we work with practically every weekend traveled from Colorado Springs all the way to Downtown Denver for this photo shoot. Our location was on 11th Ave. and Broadway mainly for its vintage charm that reminds me of images of
New York from the 1930's-50's.

We worked to create a story in multiple setting. Starting off in the urban landscape and working out way into the corner liquor store, and a place I use to eat at while attending school "A Taste of Philly" of course we had to grab a bite to eat afterward. The images were made digitally with a yellow filter just to give a nice warm tint to it since the sun had yet to give that warm glow. Terrence was wearing a well fitted Mark Antony Suit, with a beautiful hot pink shirt, and white silk tie. This has all come together beautifully, and I can not complain one bit for the outcome of this shoot.

New work with Solomon Phillips and Daiana Eliotte. Inspired by vintage photographs that were given to me by my Father, from the late 1950's early 1960's, with a straight on snap shot feeling. This was made in the backyard of my business partner home taking advantage of the withered landscape and cold January day.
